Description
This is a matched pair of laser-cut hardwood F-hole style sound hole covers, sized specifically to be perfect for use on cigar box guitars, but they can also work great for ukuleles, dulcimers, amplifiers, other homemade instruments, and other woodworking/craft projects! They are 1/8" thick, 3 3/4" (95.3mm) long/tall, and 1 1/8" (28.6mm ) wide at the center point.
These covers are cut on a CNC laser machine from a range of domestic and exotic hardwoods - choose your favorite from the list of options above. These high-quality parts can be used as is, or you could use stain, spraypaint, woodburning or other finishes on them. A simple coat of linseed oil is usually all it takes to make these hardwoods take on a much deeper, richer tone.
These parts are MADE IN THE USA - designed and manufactured in the state of New Hampshire, USA by C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply, from woods sourced both domestically and internationally. The cut edges will have some darkening/charring left over from the laser-cutting process, and there may be masking paper on one or both surfaces as well. The back sides may have some darkish markings left over from the laser-cutting process, which can be easily moved if desired (though once mounted the backs are not visible, so it shouldn't really be necessary).
