1-inch Screened Grommets - Choose Finish Color & Pack Size

These screened 1-inch grommets are GREAT for cigar box guitar sound hole inserts, and other decorative uses. Choose from four finish colors and four different pack sizes, allowing you to buy in bulk and save! The bodies of these grommets are solid brass, and they can be polished to quite a rich brassy shine, if so desired. The inside diameter of these grommets is about 1/2".

We include washers with these grommets which allow them to be mounted in fabric in the traditional manner; however, please note that a special setting die is required for this purpose (which we do not carry).

There has been a lot of discussion in the community about what the ideal sound hole size is for cigar box guitars. With grommets of this size, you can cover all of the bases - if you feel a single small sound hole is best, no problem, use just one grommet. If you prefer more total sound hole size, then you can drill separate holes and use as many of these as you want.
