Here's one for the lap steel enthusiasts! A high-quality, inexpensive chrome-plate steel tone bar, perfect for use on conventional and homemade lap steel slide guitars. This is the classic style of tone bar used by the greats over the years to coax the silky smooth tones out of their lap steels.

If you don't have a lap steel yet, no worries - you can build your own 6-string version using our 2x4 Lap Steel Kit - you just supply the 2x4 board!

The dimensions of these slide bars are 3" wide by ~3/4" tall. They are designed with grooves on the sides and top to hold comfortably in the hand for playing slide on a lap steel. You may want to file/sand the top edges to customize the comfort of the fit to your hand.
