Description
This is a pack of two general-usage capacitors, rated at from 0.010 microfarads to 0.068 microfarads. These capacitors are great for incorporating into guitar tone circuits, amplifier circuits and more! Please note that we do not include instructions or how-to along with these, so you should know how to make use of them before ordering. As a general guide, 0.01uF capacitors can be good for use with piezo disk pickup circuits, for helping to calm down the often overly hot signal. The most commonly used value for magnetic pickups is 0.047uF, followed by 0.033uF, and then 0.022uF, depending on the impedance of the pickup(s), the pots being used and the overall tone you are trying to achieve. 0.068uF caps are often used with bass guitar circuits.
There are many forums and posts to be found online that dive into great detail on what capacitor values to use with different combinations of pickup circuit components, so research is recommended.
