Description
These chrome sealed gear tuners were designed for soprano ukuleles, offering a change over the traditional friction tuners. The posts on these tuners are shorter than their full-sized counterparts, reflecting the thinner headstocks of Ukuleles over guitars (a headstock thickness of about 1/2" is recommended). The post length is 15/16" plate to tip, and roughly 3/4" plate to string hole. Each tuner mounts with one screw with a washer and a bushing that screws down into the base of the tuner.
Installation requires a 25/64" (10mm) hole, with the hole for the mounting screw pointing toward the body of the instrument.
