Re-LapZ B-Bender Junior - Easy Pitch-Bending Add-On for Top-Loading Hard-Tail Bridges

Easily add string-bending capabilities to any instrument that has a standard top-loading hard-tail bridge!

This simple and innovative guitar string bender system was inspired by the original B-Bender design invented by Dana Valley of Aguanga, California. Dana presented his original design to us in late 2021, and we began selling it through CBGitty.com soon after. Sadly, Dana lost his battle with cancer in late 2022, and we purchased the rights to the B-Bender from his widow soon after, with a goal of keeping Dana’s memory and innovation alive and available to DIY musical tinkerers around the world.

This easy-to-install single-piece design represents a simplified version of the original, to allow basic note-bending without the need for multiple pieces or dialing in a set screw. You'll quickly get the feel for how hard to press it with the palm of your hand to get the amount of bend you want, much like a Whammy Bar on an electric guitar, but for a single string. We designed these with a slim profile so you can add one to more than one string if you want.

These bender kits are made with the finest materials - we continue to source American-made parts for these benders whenever possible, and the stainless steel levers are laser-cut in the USA, and tapped/bent by hand here in the C. B. Gitty shop. The kit includes a roller-style replacement saddle, which you can install on your instrument to reduce friction on the string. Installation instructions are included.

Please note: these only work with TOP-LOADING bridges, where the string is fed through a small hole in the back plate of the hard-tail bridge, as opposed to "bottom-loading" bridges where the string is fed up through the body of the instrument and the bottom plate of the bridge. As shown in the photos, these work with the style of hard-tail bridges where the string hole is directly beneath the saddle mounting screw, such as the top-loading bridges we sell here on CBGitty.com. The lever has a double hole for the saddle mounting screw, to allow for different bridge styles where the distance from the saddle screw to the string hole can vary by 0.125 inch or more.
