8pc. 2.5" Wooden Sound Hole Covers - Birch Lone Star

This is an 8-pack of cool natural-finish wooden sound hole covers with a distinctive Texas "Lone Star" design, perfect for use on cigar box guitars, dulcimers, amplifiers, other homemade instruments and more! The outside diameter of these covers is 2.5" (63.5mm) and the inner opening diameter is a hair over 1 3/4" (45mm) - they fit well over a 2 1/4" (57mm) hole. The thickness of each piece may vary slightly, but should be very close to 0.11" (2.8mm) (just under 1/8").

These covers are cut on a CNC laser machine from nice 1/8" arctic birch plywood (Made in the USA). These high-quality parts can be used unfinished, finished with various stains/oil-based finishes, or even spraypainted (see examples of spraypainted parts in the photos). These parts are designed and manufactured in the state of New Hampshire, USA by C. B. Gitty Crafter Supply, from USA-made birch plywood. Thus these parts are 100% Made in the USA!

Some additional sanding/finishing may be necessary before mounting them on your instrument. Please note that we ship these without a finish, so you can apply whatever finish to them you want. The cut edges will have some darkening/charring left over from the cutting process, and there may be masking paper on one or both surfaces as well.

Individual parts may vary slightly from those shown in the photos, and may bear some minor making marks left over from the manufacturing process. Some sanding/smoothing of the surface, edges and cutouts may be desired before final fitting.
