Stainless Steel Tailpieces for Cigar Box Guitars - Choose Design and String Configuration

These stainless steel tailpieces were designed specifically for use on 3 and 4-string Cigar Box Guitars. Available in a range of elegant designs, these tailpieces feature 3 evenly spaced string holes and pre-formed mounting holes, making them even easier to make use of on a 3-string cigar box guitar. Just bend to the desired angle, put in 3 screws and you're on your way (see installation example photos for an idea of how to do this).

These pieces are laser-cut from solid 0.030-inch thick 304 stainless steel sheet, a process that yields nice smooth edges and clean semi-satin surfaces. Because these are solid stainless you could polish them to a mirror shine if desired, or antique them, or sandblast/rough them up - whatever you want to do to get the look you are going for.

Mounting screws are included with most varieties. These are designed to work with ball-end strings, as shown in the example photos.
