"We the People" U. S. Constitution Peel-and-Stick Fretboard Decal for Cigar Box Guitar - 25-inch Scale

Add an awesome decorative fretboard to your fretless cigar box guitar, with this original full-color design by Ben Gitty, featuring the opening lines (preamble) of the U. S. Constitution! Just peel off the backing, snug the front edge up against your nut, and push it down onto the neck. Voila, you've got a perfectly exact 18-fret 25-inch scale marked out on your build.

This is a single clear color fretboard decal, printed on weatherproof outdoor-grade clear polyester sheet, and cut to a perfect size for standard 1 1/2" wide cigar box guitar necks. The exact measurements of these decals is 1 3/8" wide by 16 1/4" long. The decals have a glossy sheen to them, and are crystal clear to let the wood grain of your neck show through. We even marked the important fret positions (3rd, 5th, 7th, etc) for you! These were designed here at C. B. Gitty by Ben "Gitty" Baker, and are printed in our own print shop, making these true Made-in-the-USA products!

Please note that this decal includes 18 frets - the total length is limited by the length of the sheets we print them on. These decals are very durable with a strong permanent adhesive. Make sure the surface of your neck is smooth, clean and grease-free before applying. As with any adhesive decal, if you pick at the corners they will come back up, so be careful about that. Also as with any decal, if you scratch the surface with something sharp, the printing will scrape off. In our testing though it is very durable and stands up well to guitar picks and fingernails.

These decals can be lightly buffed with super fine steel wool (or similar) to take off some of the gloss and give them more of a matte/weathered appearance, if desired.
