Since introducing our amplifier kits several years ago, we have been using a 3.5" 1-watt speaker, which just happened to perfectly fit 80mm fan grills. Unfortunately despite the thousands of them we bought, the manufacturer decided to discontinue that design. We are down to our last 100 or so of them, and when they are gone we will have to revamp our kits to work with a new slightly smaller 4-watt speaker.
